These Prym button blanks are made of stainless metal with a stable wire eyelet, in a size 19mm.
Prym Cover Buttons are great to use up fabric scraps that can either match and camouflage with your made garment, or can be used as decoration in contrasting colours. The creative possibilities are endless!
A gearwheel on the inside helps the fabric stretch evenly. Depending on the textile used, the finished buttons can be washed at up to 60 degrees.
The button comes with a plate that pushes into the gearwheel to seal the button. You can purchase the tool that pushes the plate into the button here too! The back of the packaging for the tool has illustrated instructions in three steps on how it works. A cutting template is also illustrated for cutting a circle in the fabric.
